And so it begins…

Morbidly obese…it rang through my head like a really bad song. I have to admit as much as it’s true and my response to the DEXA scan person was humourous “no shit” it still hurt but i think it gave me the final kick in the bum i need to wake up to myself.

So Day 1 over halfway and feeling good, I had an Isagenix shake for breakfast; 2 eggs, beans and vegetables for lunch 1 and tuna, beans and vegetables for lunch 2; boring i know but tasted OK and didn’t miss those evil biscuits one bit.

Overall feeling is good actually, going to the basketball tonight so need to focus and stay clear of the canteens and my sons chippies…

Finally my starting stats for this journey are in (I measure alot more but these are the main ones):

Weight: 155.7kg
Chest: 138cm
Waist: 149cm
Hips: 143cm
%Body Fat: 42.9%

Some interesting facts about my body scan, I actually have 86kg of lean muscle, unbelievable right. I have been modest all these years covering it up. Also discovered my body will burn 2462 calories per day even if I do nothing, imagine how much of the wrong stuff i was eating, sad right but what can you do.
